1. Thank you
2. IMHO it's good not to have a GUI
3. Any indication when it's out of Beta?

Thank you, Loser.
Before i try it, how does it compare to Dominion (brutal decay shaper) or FLux Bittersweet (more light/natural) ?
About the GUI requests, several Loser's plugins do have a gui in some way, as some of them (not this one yet) were skinned using Asseca's MGUI.

This sounds much much much much better than dominion! It actually sounds extremely good!
Cheers for this!

I like the other Loser's plugins (the master limiter, the dvc comps...). So everyone be sure to check them out !
Thank you, Bmanic for your appreciation compared to DOminion. I dig DOminion, but much more for "creative artifact" tasks better than subtle transient enhancements.

I have the Creamware Transcient designer 3 and i must say this transshaper compares nicelyechopark wrote: Someone have possibility to compare with Transient designer from SPL ?
Edit: tho transshaper sounds equal to waves to me i think transhaper is simpler and gives me the results and timing i want easier. When i demo'd waves i had to fight with it.
T2 Icarus is a must. SonicCore SCOPE is the most. As heart of studio it has my vote, cause XITE-1 is all she wrote.

I've got the SPL here, and I have to say it's far from being as natural sounding, and lack some character compared to the hardware.
Now, you don't pretend that it's a replica and if I objectively compare it with the other plug versions I've tried, then damn, it's the best one by far... beats the Waves one, though the multiband from Waves is in another league ...
and yes I agree it steals the good ol' Dominion's crown.
well done!!!

Uhm.. it's done when it is donemauseoleum wrote: 3. Any indication when it's out of Beta?
As all good things in life, it will be free. Err .. as all great inventions .. But I'd need to set up company stuff or at least paypal to get money out of you, anyway, so I'm waaaay to lazy to do that, so all my plug-ins are free.sounddesigner wrote: When it comes out of beta i'd be more then glad to support if reasonably priced.
Well I'm poor so I've never heard the SPL, it isn't a replica or anything anyway ...Chopper wrote:I've got the SPL here, and I have to say it's far from being as natural sounding, and lack some character compared to the hardware.
But apart from all the kind words, anything to improve?

Chopper, could you perhaps provide us with some audio examples from the SPL transient designer? I do have access to one as well but it's a bit tricky for me and would take a couple of weeks.LOSER wrote:Well I'm poor so I've never heard the SPL, it isn't a replica or anything anyway ...Chopper wrote:I've got the SPL here, and I have to say it's far from being as natural sounding, and lack some character compared to the hardware.

Having a really good transient enhancer/separator/supressor plugin would be awesome (it is already good but it could probably be tweaked to be even more smooth and natural!) and having some audio examples to go by it would be easier for Loser to tweak the plugin.
Cheers!

ok,
who wants to run me through the purpose of this plugin?
tried running a few things through it & i love what it dose to a full track @ 100% smooth & 39.37008% on the attack & sustain
if i pause silence for a few seconds then play it makes the ugliest sound ever that looks real nice on a vector scope,
with my lack of knowledge of this type of processing & its uses i would (& will) use it when mastering,
what is its general purpose in the studio?
thanks in advance

Okay, to keep it short, it is best ued on material with good transients (e.g. drums, versa e.g. it's of no use on distorted guitars, as they do not cary any or very little transient info in there signal). But as I said, I barly never ever used any transient designer, and probably won't use it that much in the future.djsubject wrote: who wants to run me through the purpose of this plugin?

try to use it whenever compression doesn't seem to get you where you want... ?djsubject wrote:ok,
