The default presets arent updated yet. I would be happy if you can give me some feedback about the KYBD. If its all ok, i will update the default presets and make a new release.
Is there anyway an option can be added so this synth can use its old functionality?

The original version before the "good KYBD approximation" had some great filter sounds especially on presets like 'warm pad'. Now that setting is gone and it is very difficult to reproduce. :(

If you can post a sample of said pad, with the sound you like I will make a preset for the current version.

Thank you Modeler.

I would like to get the same response from the pitch bend wheel and the same sound that I was getting in a previous version of UNO-60. Here is a sample, unfortunately the only reference to the sound I want is in the mix but if you know the warm pad preset you will probably recognize the way it used to sound.

@ToguAudioLine:

Again, thanks for this wonderful piece of software! It makes me remember my beloved JU60 (long gone). Just a few thoughts:

- now that the U-NO has drastically evolved soundwise from it's early beginnings (aliasing etc.) wouldn't it be great to give him an attack stage that acts more like on the original? I still think it reacts a lot too fast at the end of the attack time (even more extreme than a 106 would) just before the decay time stage is reached. It sounds like a fast short 'blip' but should be slowly blending into the decay stage or the sustain stage (decharging capacitor=first fast then slower and slower). Examples where it's needed are big smooth moving pads or drone basses when the attack stage controls the filter frequency.

- thought 1 on the chorus: to my ears only mode 1+2 combined sound like chorus mode 1 on my long gone JU60. Maybe it's only that the effect seems to be more drastic, so would it be possible to make the chorus intensity an option on the user interface like on the standalone chorus version?
- thought 2 on the chorus: if I remember correctly mode 1+2 combined sounded more like doubling the speed of the chorus, narrower, overall more like a fast tremolo/vibrato effect, it was excellent on organ sounds>hammond-ish<. Does your Juno 60 do something different when depressing both buttons?

- of course like everyone else, if possible at all - I don't know..., please think about the oh so loved arpeggiator on the 60;o).

- keep up the good work!

Cheers,
el-folie

any chance of an AU version? I love the synth, but I think I may wind up going for DP or Logic as my DAW instead of Live...

Here's the preset, should behave the same way as the older version of U-NO-60. By the way, were you aware of the VCF control for the pitch wheel in the bottom-left corner? :)

Yes I was aware but I couldn't get to sound the same. I will try yours.... and thanks.

I am not using cubase so I cannot read chunked fxp files. Can you save as a non-chunked file?

I'm not sure I can. :(

Here's the whole bank with just that preset replaced.

You can use fxpansion vst_au wrapper, however (at least in Logic Pro 7.2) you cah't change any of the params other than the patches - no cutoff etc

Hey Modeler. Thank you that is perfect. With a little coding I am able to read chunk based presets now!

I have just finished a bank of 64 presets for U-No-60:

Juno-106 Factory Bank A

Although the plug-in doesn't function identically to my Juno-106 (the noise generator is not quite load enough and the pulse width cannot be opened as much for a start) I'm really happy with most of these. Will hopefully do Bank B at some point.

A/B them against the real thing here:

Enjoy!
