ok,the only bug i've noticed is the tips at the bottom are cut of a bit here.you can still read them though,no-one else get that.res=1440x900.

FR;brush sizes? like the eraser.
and a 48x48 or 96x96 grid for triplets

the line tools ace! and random kit maker's great too.
looking forward to yummy new add ons.way!

oh yeah,i couldn't get 134bmp only 133,tried using shift for fine adjusting but didn't work.
Thanks for the feedback, spacedad! To adjust the sliders more precisely, once they are selected you can use the left/right arrow keys.

It doesnt fit in my screen - 1024 x 768. can you please make it a little smaller? Thanks! So far, the best out of the bunch is this one (but i havent tried more than 5 synths, so... :D )

It is a very nice tool, shame it doesn't fit my Compaq laptop screen which has the maximum resolution 1024x768. And what I smoke: Reality.

I'm also on 1024x768, so i would also like to see a little smaller gui...
but to say it's the big flop of this year's contest? for me, it's more like the big surprise of this year's contest :)
And it's def on my top 3.

There are a couple of things I would love to see in this program that would make it get my number 1 vote, but at the moment it's easily in my top 5, definitely NOT the flop of the competition.

Unless I've missed something, there doesn't appear to be a way to select the audio output device to use. You can select MIDI input, but not audio output, which seems to be a major omission. I know I want to hear it before I start MIDI tweaking it. Basically, it seems to default to my laptop's crappy internal sound chip (which I've permanently muted) rather than my proper, external, audio interface. Is there at least a registry hack or something?

Better still, am I just stupid and have missed the obvious?

Thanks for the suggestions everybody! I will add the possibility to scale the main window. Since I already tried several grid sizes etc… during development, everything is in place to rescale the window and it will be in the next version.

FYI, there is a reason why the the grid ended up being this size. Obviously it's nicer to edit bigger cells than super small ones but that's not it.
One of the main initial features I wanted (and that will be added later, as stated in the doc) was to add a probability factor to each cell. By default all cells would play all the time, but you could change that probability if you wanted, and while Blip is looping have certain cells playing only from time to time, which is really nice to create blippy madness… or just get a bit of variation.

Anyway, the probability that a cell has to play was supposed to be visualized by smaller or bigger squares in the grid. With cells of 3x3 you would not see enough difference between the probability levels. Now I may implement this feature as another layer on which you can work with the usual graphic tools. But I liked the possibility of seeing everything at once :-)

Ok, I sent a new version 1.01 to Tuz. This is just a quick fix so that Blip resizes automatically to fit in a 1024x768 screen if needed. If you have a larger screen, it will keep its original size.

Great news!

Look it was something I considered it to be before I got it working. Ok? And I said it with a bit of sarcastic humour because I knew that we'd see the missing files poping up sooner or later. No big deal!
