Sampler Vs Wave editor Host

helloooow, KVR resistance!

i'm wondering what is best, a good Vst Sampler or a "Wavetable" host or program.
what i really need is to trigger lot of wave samples on to my Main Host mixer.


let me put you this two scenarios:

1. sampler that allows you to trigger lots of waves at the same time, with differents outputs, and each output sended to its mixer line, that could be the answer.I don't know if that exists. (Rather that to open a vst plugin sampler for each mixer line).

2. slave host-program that allows to trigger lots of samples, and, allows you to "rewire" them to the MAin host.


obviously, i whould like to procces the samples before Mastering. Latency the lower the better, etc...
i could achive this task with Reason rigth now, but by reading other topics on this forum, everybody is rejecting the idea of Reason's samplers (for some technical reasons, like interpolation and stuff...) thats why i'm looking for: ither a sampler or a host. i heared about EnergyXT and vst samplers, amoungh others, that's what i'm considering rigth now.


i'm using PC / Windows Xp
