w/o a recompile?
THERE IS ALWAYS A WORKAROUND

I think there are more convenient ways to change the date of a file?

Brilliant plugin, *again*, Loser :). Highly useful, and I like to use it more than a "normal" compressor. So far I've been using Dominion and BitterSweet for that, but now I think this will get more usage . I was thinking of buying SPL, once, as there was no good TS plugins... now, I don't think so.

I must admit that Attack/Release and maybe wet/dry parameters would be useful, though. With wet/dry you could get some extremely useful sounds out of it. At least attack is a must have. Smoothness acts similar/same as "knee" I guess?

Thank you so much Loser!

I'll maybe add the attack/sustain time setting in the next version of this plug-in or a different version anyway not this one ;).

Smoothness, really just makes everything more smooth, dunno how to explain it, but it just makes, e.g. the transition between attack and sustain phase more smooth. So if you want it to be more aggresive lower it, but if it starts to get grainy set it higher.

Don't get me wrong Loser, this is extremely useful as it is and your effort is very much appreciated, of course :), thanks again.

However, I'm looking forward to this new version, too. Great stuff on the way, yay!

Happy times... :)

How can it be compared to Waves TransX? Any opinions?

So the Transient Shaper is now final and I included it in my plug-in bundle, this means no more changes to the code, apart from bug fixes, but nothing that wil change the sound, or break backwards compatibility, so it is now safe to be used on any projects, go and tell all your friends about it, etc.

Have fun with it and thanks for all the kind words. Plug-in bundle can be found at: http://loser.asseca.com/

Hi, I like this plugin a lot.
Could there be a know where you 'contra lock' the attack and sustain values; like if the attack goes to minus 10%, the sustain goes to plus 10%.
I could do that manually, but I like the effect of this doing with one mouse click :)

hey

this is really great plugin
but i have sometimes problem wich cubase4 - sometimes im unable to insert plugin in some projects. when i restart cubase i can open plugin in fresh project but again in that particular project i cant.

im not sure is it cubase or transientshaper bug- other looser plugs works ok for now.
someone else have this problem?

Wierd. Could you please try to find out maybe what other plug-ins are already running on those projects Transient Shaper can't be loaded?

Also have you tried ALL of my other plug-ind (at least those included in the VST bundle), because it would be great to hear that they are all working, since I had some problems with Cubase and I wasn't able to figure it out, and once I got around to test it in Cubase all worked great. I don't have Cubase/Nuendo, so I can't test :(, so thank you for pointing this out. I'm tring to fix this (if only I knew how :().

hey

yes wired..

i suppose it is more cubase bug.
more observations:
1.i can open cubase make new project and everything is ok - i can use TS
2.after opening problematic project where i cant load this plugin i cant load transientshaper even in new fresh project - i have to reopen cubase!
3.when i delete everything (every track and plug) in this project the problem still exists
4.yes all other your plugins works ok - i will test more and trying to find whats the reason and i will try to reproduce
5.if you want i can sent to you project example where plugin dont work (maybe somwhere you could test it)
6.i ended with exporting all tracks to new project and everything is ok(!) so propably cubase problem - but why only with THIS great plug ? :) strange...
