Anyone Bought a New Guitar lately?

I got a brand new Taylor 814ce in the post this morning.

It's blowing me away. My fingers are sore from playing it already.

Here's some pics









Mine's in a natural Sitka Spruce rather than sunburst finish, so the colour looks more like this 812 below, but with the larger body 814 size.



It's massively loud, and can compete with a piano when strummed. The balance is wonderful - no more B string accentuation, and the action is very fast - without compromising the juicy tones

Overjoyed ... the nicest guitar I ever owned. Thought to share the news here

Yes that's it.
I tend to grab it rather than my old jumbo Gibson.

Squier vintage Modified fretless, just put a set of Fender flats on her and she was ready to sing straight out the box.

dammit, I'd gotten over that guitar lust, but now seeing that pic again...

I got sick of synths and sequencing about a year ago, and started playing wooden music.

It's an emotional valhalla, compared with waiting for a sequencer to load

Hence the 12 month build-up to getting a decent Taylor. And now even an open G sounds magnificent

i love me my washburn 6 and seagull 12 strings...and i'm pretty close to "old fart" status ...
