Hi!

I'm a big Drum and Bass fan (but will take help on anything) and I'm looking to make some basic beats with either Cubase or Reason, most likely Cubase. But, I'm completely confused!!! I just don't know how to make a beat, but I do have the samples on my computer. How do I do this with Cubase? I have a MIDI keyboard will that help?

With Reason...

I realize that I can make a drum beat with Redrum, but it doesn't seem that great for tweaking the actual sample. Is there anyway I can take a snare or kick drum and make it my own using Reason, or even Cubase?
