ALESIS F2 and EXPRESSION PEDALS in general...

Hi,

I bought an Alesis F2 expression pedal. Well It's the first time I use an expression pedal... but there is something I really can't explain.

The Alesis F2 has a wide angle range... but all the volume change I got (from 0 to 127 midicc) is in the first 1 cm. It's near to impossible to use. I mean a wide angle pedal should give a wide control, let's say 0 volume at all up, and 127 volume all down... so you have enough sensibility to play. But that's not this case. I don't know if the problem is the Alesis Andromeda I'm controlling which scale the parameters... I don't have another synth with pedall cc input.

Have you tried the Alesis F2? Do you have a "all wide angle" control?
What about the other expression pedal like the roland ev5, or moog ep2?
