:) Tim from CM is going to contact you guys so that you can be on their upcoming DVD. If you don't get contacted within a few days let me know. Already asked for the free copy of the mag for each dev and waiting for a reply. Also, make sure you're up to date with your entries on the dc page. Ben and I have been updating like crazy but please check to see if we missed something.

Upppps :hyper:

This is a piece of good news.
Do I need to put a tie on now there? :hihi:

I think at least a free one-year subscription of CM would be fair.
We are delivering content that attracts people to buy their magazine. I can already imagine the "including 41 free supah-dupah audio plugins and more" headline.

Post

I agree with rl, to get something free in return would be nice.

The 10 days we had to deliver the Frequency Filtered Delay have been like a 'rock'n'roll swindle' for me, with only 7 'periods of sleep', getting close to a nervous breakdown , being beaten up at home by some neighbour that I wasn't friendly with for a moment , no time to go wash my clothes or do the dishes...

Actually the reason why I give the plugin away for free is because I just don't have the time to arrange the registration and payments, not because I've got too much money :D

I wouldn't wear a tie but it's cool they give it the attention and the DVD idea is cool too. Even only because it can serve as a proof to the outer world that I've been working on something that is usefull to people (musicians). Most statesmen or neighbours don't even know what a plugin is, when telling them I give my plugs away for free , the 'nerd' picture is complete.

sorry for your neighbor.. time weals all hounds.

i do wish to say thank you for giving your plugins away for free :)
you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

Definitely! Thanks to everyone for putting in all that effort, time, damage to their personal relationships all to release some really impressive plugins!

On the CM note, don't underestimate the effect that mag can have on people. It was the free plugins included with an issue of CM magazine about four or five years ago that were solely responsible for getting me into softsynths and the virtual studio environment from a purely hardware+midi sequencer+multitrack audio recorder setup.

Well, okay, SonicSynth 1 played a part, too. But mostly it was the CM studio software on the magazine's CD. So if you doubt the impact that your inspiration and perspiration can have on people, just know that you (yes, YOU!) really can change the way people make music.

Yeah anyway Ithink the most important thing is that every entry has its web or at least email contact included in the zip archive, that could eventually lead to further updates if anyone will ever care about your plugin! :)
