NS7 Sampler formats available?

OK, I was able to get in on the current NS7 buy and I'm excited about receiving the samples.

I currently do all of my drums with Linn Plug RM IV but I also have VSampler. Both of these can be rather tedious mapping a large library like this so I was wondering(hoping) if someone might have already done mappings for either of these and might be willing to share?

I'd interested to hear about any kit mappings that are available not just for these VSTi's. Also any advice people might have about the getting the most out of these samples.

Here are some Kontakt 1 presets linked in a thread at the ns forum, VSampler should be able to read these. I haven't tried these (I just pre-ordered ns_kit7 as well):

I have Kontakt 2 so I'm covered, but I have lot of other drum plugs and samplers so I'd love to see more mappings of the ns_kit7 samples as well.

If you're talking about the NS_kit7, then yes, I have some VSampler kits put together. Not all of them mind you. I scaled the original sample sets down to ten layers and they're pretty much GM layout. They do have RR where available except the hats. VS will not let you use RR and Mod wheel controllers at the same time (used for the hats openness control). If you're interested, PM me with an email address and I'll send them along.

I wrote a program to write out an NS7 drum map in LM4 format which I then imported into RMIII. Assuming that RMIV will also read LM4 format, you could have a copy of the program, just let me know.

Thanks for the replies and the links. I think I've got enough to get started when the samples arrive. I see where they ship with some Kontact, I'm hoping I'll be able to import those into VSampler with a minimal amount of fuss.

VSampler will only import K1.5. NS_kit7 was ported from HALion 3 to Kontakt 2. That's why I had to build my own kits for VS.
