Korg M3, Yamaha Fantom, Colossus, or Komplete 5(+Receptor)

Dear KVRites

I need help.

I wish to purchase a high end quality solution sampled sound solution that will integrate with my DAW (Sonar or Cubase or Protools LE) with very high quality realistic sounds for a good cross section of sounds from Trance to Orhestral.

This sound source will be the "go to" instrument in my studio. Support for playing live will become important eventually, if not immediately, so that I can sound identical live with the same set of sounds I play in the studio or on the album.

The choices are the latest workstations from Korg - M3, Yamaha - Fantom XS, East West Colossus sampled sounds, or Native Instruments - Komplete 5 (maybe running on a Receptor).

My dilemna is that I live somewhere in Africa with no local access to these workstations or collections to try them out in the shop as would be possible in Turnkey (london) or other similar store.

I know I will get a varying set of responses, but would really love to get responses from those who have mad comparisons through personal or extensive studio use.

Sound Quality and Ease of Use (quick access to high quality sounds) to enabl glitch free inspiration, are my most important criteria.

My previous approach was to get special instruments for specific sounds. I already have Stylus and Atmosphere from Spectrasonics + Kontakt 1 and 2, Battery 1 and Absynth as well as Ivory from Synthogy - oh I forgot I also have Emulator X (version 1).

On another note, I listened to some of the mp3 demos on the museresearch site and was blown away, by the sound of what this can do !.

Roland make the Fantom series, and Yamaha make the Motif series.

Both are excellent for what you're looking for.
