Stuff I've used and can say yes to:

z3ta+, Oatmeal (capable, get the All-in-One pack for all the banks and stuff), Superwave P8 or the bundle (if you can buy it), Hypersonic 2 (US-1 synth, the included BigTone presets mainly, or wait for the custom presets pack I'll show off at a later date.), synth1, Albino2, FreeAlpha...

There's more but I think if any of the above had been mentioned, +1.

Otherwise, just go for reFX Nexus for 'definitive' tracne!

Blown away by real synths, yes yes I mean vsti's predator, tera 3, vaz, and zebra just blow it away...

I dont know why... or I do... I guess its because its a rompler, and all the sounds are vengeance...

and not to mention the sound quality, just aint so hot... its just not... arrrg...

I feel bad, I wish it was a super smooth thing to trade or sell that liscence...

ok, I said it, now I feel bad, I will go disapear... but Nexus, arrg, I consider that a software mistake... for me... it was for me, I know its only opinion

same price you get tera,,,, I am not on windows, but a little bit more cash, you could own vaz

hey if you're looking for a cheap yet effective program for making trance and techno, i'd invest in ejay's dance6. find it cheap on ebay and i can say, it'll be worth it for some real techno and trance.
