I wasn't going to try any of the non fx entries, but after trying this i was very pleased with it (freakrush is the person i thank for recommending i try it), i wont say what position in my top 5 it is, but it's high anyway.
The 'simplicity' of it is what gave it bonus points, i'm generally underwhelmed by vst's trying to be everything to everyone.

I was wondering why i would need dr_modus seeing as i'm generally using ext2's drum tracks for, like, drums
but i keep going back to it, playing some more. Quicker navigation i'm finding. A keeper I think.

Thanks guys.
I have to say that there are some 'hidden' controls which are not obvious if it's not mentioned about them. It involves the using of [Ctrl] and [Shift] keys.

All these [Ctrl] and [Shift] features are possible because of using David Haupt'sfree DH_MouseDetector module which was made as a Christmas present for the syntheditusers group.

BTW, this wasn't in reference to Dr. modus, it's because it's NOT trying to be everything i like it so much. Those additional controls you just posted add even more to how much i like it (although i already knew about "[Ctrl]+click on the Tune slider resets it to zero position", since that's a pretty common one nowadays thankfully).Reverse Engineer wrote:...i'm generally underwhelmed by vst's trying to be everything to everyone.

Hi all,
Dr.Modus has been updated.
Now it has a workaround against 1000 character limit (the pop-up menu didn't list all files if there were too many of them in the folder).
Thanks S.HUSH's for requesting this workaround.

Best regards,
Max

Great plugin guys! I almost considered splashing out for DFH or BFDs until I found this gem. Saved my day for sure! I'll have a whole album coming out this winter, and Dr Modus is doing the drums on all but one track!8)
PS - Great samples to use with Dr Modus: NS Kit and Ambient Kit by Franky D
