Hi all
I was hoping someone could share their experience, because I'm looking for a standalone master cd burner. My pc-based burner is just not pulling it of for the bigger projects I'm doing in my studio.
Cheers

What's exactly the problem with the CD burner in your PC?
What media brand do you use? Some burners can be picky, so selecting one type that works well pays off.
Do you burn at top speed? Burning at highest possible speed is asking for a coaster in my experience: tracks at the end will contain more errors. Using only 24x or even 8x instead of 50x reduces errors significantly while waiting for the burn to finish is still very acceptable. This does have a correllation with the used media: there is an optimal speed that gives least errors.
