Cheers Squids, I wasn't expecting anything but appreciate the gesture - I'll drop Allen a line r.e. the combi's.

I'm very pleased with that Studiophonik drum kit by the way - if the rest of the library is of that quality, you'll definitely have a sale with me!

Yes, the rest of Studiophonik is like that BUT this kit is even an outtake from Studiophonik so it's exclusive to this bonus disc... and that one is really cool because of the room! Enjoy. Wait till you hear the combis done with that kit. It really shows what SampleTank 2.5 is capable of. I will do a video on it when I get back in town.

Rainman / Darkstar - Did you guys manage to get the Miroslav sounds working? I'm getting a... 'Full Orchestra 1.sti is a Miroslav Philharmonik 1.0 sound. Upgrade your sound content to version 1.1.' message whenever I try and load them. One of the combi's doesn't load either as a result.

Have you done the sound content upgrade? It's in your user area on IK under something like Free Updates and extra content....

Somewhere, somehow, I (and I'm thinking we ScarKord) ended up with some free Miroslav content. Some of it came from the IK user area but some must have come from elsewhere. The IK sounds work as do the bonus disc sounds however single instrument sounds(such as flute, bassoon, trumpet, trombone etc) no longer work with ST 2.5. I get a dialogue box saying that these sounds need to be updated to 1.1. The combi's that reference anything by Miroslav all work. I had to reload them from the second dl that Allen sent me to get it to work. Maybe that's what you need to do ScarKord, even though they appear the same i.e. same titles, something has changed.

Cheers for that - The combi's all load fine now.

Still having no luck with those single instrument sounds though, but I guess we weren't meant to have them so can't really complain

definitely not "completely transparent" when all settings are off.

also made sure to disable all other effects to be sure.

i just got ST 2.5 and this is it. I have needed a sample-player for awhile. I use wusikstation but it is more like a synth to me.
The lib. that comes with xl is off the hook! i am not a member of e-sounds, so what do i need to do to sign up and is there any free ST stuff there? anyhow the sounds on xl are dope so i look forward to buying some e-sounds soon.
