bug on menu - been there the last few versions.

Grep your project for SaveProjct, should be SaveProject ;) It's fine when first loaded, but if you work on a file, and then go to save/load, the spelling is then wrong.

like the new features!

A very simple zebra-alike design...

Updated to Ver.0.98

May be looks not so changed. but Ive almost rewrited the rendering algo. it can anti-aliase for all outputsize.

and the 'Round' parameter added to RectFill primitive.

The Rect/Circle and Emboss parameter hehave a little different in the Non-Square Object. they always takes same width from the circumference. i think it is more suitable for non-square object design. :)

*Not yet anti-aliased the Rotation-mask
*'Round' for 'Rect' s/b implemented

g200kg,

Just wanted to pop in and say this looks like a great project. I haven't had time to try it out yet, but it looks like a mighty useful addition to any designers toolkit.

Keep up the good work 8)

Cheers,

Help! Ver.0.98 crashes regularly here!

Try loading Black_Gear.knob and changing the output bitmap size.

This tool is so cool

This project actually sounds like somebody finally does the knob generation thing The Right Way. If I didn't have a theological problem with bitmapped graphics in something like a plugin, I'd definitely give it a try... :P

As it stands, for now (like I'm ever going to get anything released anyway) I'm going to stay with generating my graphics from vectorized models on the fly, such that three of such self-contained plugins can be put on a 360k floppy still leaving space for a README containing the URI of the PDF documentation, which unfortunately didn't fit the floppies because of too many bitmapped screenshots... mm.. or some such nonesensical babbling. :)

No seriously, I'm impressed with your work...

great work! the (anti) aliasing thing was exactly what I was
still missing.

Thanks g200kg for this great program.
I suggest to add a Text layer (animated) to use text and numbers in the knobdesign.
Thanks a lot.
I can't even play a doorbell properly :)

http://asseca.com/kvr/x88.zip works - Asseca the x88 links to the bluering

those are both very nice designs, btw :-)

g200kg,

A feature request:
- a check-box per layer to switch each layer on/off

Post

thank you for many comments and suggestions.
all are interesting.

btw i found some bugs on 0.98
1) 'RadiateLine' is not work properly on non-square widget
2) 'Rect' width is wrong. it s/b 0-100% range

will be fixed next release.

BazzaTron,
in my environment, it does not cause crash but display broken image. probably same issue i think.

Rune L-H, 'KnobRender' author is here? :o great thanks for the comment

:)

It's a real little cottage industry here, isn't it!

I'd find asseca's check box handy as well... I've been deselecting primitives when taking stuff out, but a check box would be more elegant!
