You would have to access the synth that inst is made out of (Proton 5) to fully understand what it is doing, but yes the sample player is operational. As far as the graphs, they are a redesign of the original graphs on the instrument (they are much much bigger now). The do something, but it's pretty minimal in my opinion. Just something interactive. Look for Proton 5 in the UL and you'll see that I simply made invisible a lot of the knobs and asdr controls and move/changed some panel elements around. With all the effects, its hard to hear a lot of what is happening to the initial sounds/samples, so I just removed a lot of the functionality of Schmoton. Props go the original people who design the little parts (whom i will mention in the UL) including Johann Meyer, Dieter Zobel, Stephan V., Daniel Mondry, and Herbv.

how about stand alone LFO's that can send any CC data out externally (i guess obviously via midi)?

This is a good LFO

Mr. Scott,
I'll take one of these

Actually,
I'd be happy with this.

Just looking to enter in info, or events with the cursor, and then be able to perfom operations on it. Scaling, copy, rotation, etc...
I'm hacking it together with the curve generator from "LoveandLoops".
Has anyone done the "boids" flocking algo?

I can do that in 30 seconds or less. I already have a slew of different ones.dirty oscillators wrote:how about stand alone LFO's that can send any CC data out externally (i guess obviously via midi)?

Wow, that's a really nice LFO. This can also be adapted to midi output. If you're looking for a really nice LFO, take a look at some of the ones that CList made. I forget which ensembles I saw them in, but I think one of Sowari's has it in there.ehdyn wrote:This is a good LFO

Very, very nice LFO.
Now, scaling an LFO's output signal for parameter routing modulation is my personal demon, especially as a math reject..I get around this by either using a midi send module or the internal connections module, but fair warning: I've been reading that the internal connections that have saved us all so much trouble are major CPU hogs in their own rights..
Nothing beats a direct routing scheme.
Unless you're Lazyfish, that rat bhassstard..
