I've been rocking SL2 - DJ's Take Control and Way In My Brain (their Sleng Teng refix) today after picking up the 12" in a charity shop.

ahhh, my flatmate used to play that. reminds me of making millions of cups of tea, sorcerer's apprentice style, and walking round off-limits toxteth at 5am coming down off acid in search of a donut shop.DWb wrote:SL2 - DJ's Take Control
took me 2 hours apparently continuous walking to get from the baa-baa to canning street. it normally takes about 8 minutes...no idea where that time went.
f**king grim times really - no money (used to recycle 50p in the gas meter by devious means of a coat hanger and blu-tac, lived on the money from designing posters, and a victim support payout after having the shit kicked out of me in one of a series of 'random' street attacks, diet:9p loaf of bread, 9p bourbon creams, donuts, 2-for-1 pizzas - lasted almost a week. never seemed to run out of alcohol, cigarettes or drugs, funnily enough...), but oddly happy. i suppose it was playtime. on a budget.
