Reminder: If you like, post a suggestion for the next thread's title along with what you're listening to. In a few pages it'll be time to start a fresh thread with a snappy new subject line. I'm certain y'all can come up with something better than mine (see present thread).
I'm listening to some bebop but don't have a clue who's playing it or what the number's named. Doesn't resemble the standard it was probably based on in any way I can detect; I'm not sophisticated enough to do more with jazz than to enjoy it without fully appreciating all the fine points. Alas.

Amplifier ~ Debut.
Now, why aren't these guys just massive? Aside from the lack of sub-4 minute songs (they've only got one contender for that - "Neon") but common! I'm actually thinking of planning my next European vacation around a tour of these guys. Everyone owes themselves something to have a listen to this debut. Think Zeppelin/Sabbath/Floyd all in a room together and then somebody decides to push the "epic" and "I'd like to play that on top of a mountain" buttons.

Listening to radio news and watching a pigeon atop a building in downtown Richmond, Virginia (it's a traffic cam but the pigeon decided to get in on the excitement).
