I'm looking for a good XG YAMAHA soundfont. Any suggestions? (free is OK)

I found this link here in the forum:

It's the FluidR3-GM Sf2, you need sfpack to unpack the soundfont.
Download 74 mb, unpacked 148 mb.
I can't even play a doorbell properly :)

Thanks. I have Fluid and will check it tomorrow. Do you know if it follow XG specifications? They are an extension of GM (more banks and sounds)

AnotherGS had a patch to remap its instruments to "AnotherXG" though I personally didn't like it.

sYnerGi GS however has XG-drum compatibility; it works decently well with XG midi's.

I have the DLSbyXG bank that came with older SoundMAX cards. I'm having trouble converting it "as-is" to SF2 (ie: Wrecked sample maps or Names and patch numbering.) However you can use it straight in if you have a Soundfont-capable soundcard. (SB Live! and above.)
