Absolutly ! One of the best synths there is; sadly the GUI

I don't know - kinda gives it that "im an analog beast!" feel. For editing tho, yeah it sucks. A switchable gui would be a nicety.

A while ago I made a comparison mp3, but the link on yousentit expired, so I uploaded it again to my personal server:
http://www.huelsbeck.com/files/kvr/SQ80vsSQ8L-1.mp3
Examples marked "A" are from my hardware SQ80, and examples "B" are from the plugin playing the same sound.
I'm still extremely happy about this plugin emulation, but I would really like to see (and definitely buy) the Pro version some day and also hope the sustain pedal will work soon...

Are the sounds for the SQ-80 + ESQ-1 of Cesium Sounds from the big collection posted some pages before here or own creations?
http://www.cesiumsound.com/SoundPrograms.html
And can SQ8L load Midi-Files like those:

This is quite a good emulation.
But the sustain pedal doesn't seem to work. Very bad.

Dude, you're just wasting time. Everything freely available on the internet is contained in the banks I posted in this thread eons ago (syx and converted). The only banks not there are some of the factory libraries (still being sold by Syntaur) and Cesium Sound's custom banks which you can only get by paying.Pepsito wrote:Are the sounds for the SQ-80 + ESQ-1 of Cesium Sounds from the big collection posted some pages before here or own creations?

Many pages ago 1-2-Many wrote:or you could just DL the set of banks I've already converted and weeded through, posted earlier in this thread. It's quite exhaustive and comprehensive on everything available via the net, with no bank dupes, and very few preset dupes.

A great feature for the Pro version would be to have a very large and fast browser/menu which would incorporate all the patches which are today available externally. we'd gain very large amount of time if we didn't have to load the banks one after the other.
