I've got an update for Cubix that I'm in the process of wrapping up. Some of the changes in this update will give you a small taste of what can be expected from Cerebrum 4 such as improved midi triggering, which allows triggering of individual sequences by it's own note and octave, mute/solo buttons to replace activation switches, and patch randomization as seen in the Optik/Minimal updates. This update will also fixed a number of issues exclusive to Cubix as well as several improvments. Expect this update to be released within the next few days.

I love Cubix, so thanks for any update - it's great.

I am looking for something slightly more feature-rich than Cubix but when I looked at Cerebrum, it seemed much too complex for me. Am I missing something?

Cheers,

Cerebrum is more complex feature-wise, it has alot more options, but it's actually alot like Cubix in the way that the sequencers operate. The main difference is that Cubix's sequencers are level-based, meaning that you turn up the levels to hear each step, whereas Cerebrum is step-based, meaning you can turn each step on/off to hear the beat. The levels can then be adjusted for each activated step, as well as other parameters such as pitch or filter. It's really very simple to use once you learn the basics of it. The manual explains alot, so if you cant figure somthing out, have a look at it. Or feel free to start a thread with any questions you may have, I'd be glad to help you out.
