Thanks. I've shared with everyone my philosophy on customer service. To me it is so crucial that there's a helpful human being around who can solve any possible situation or concern. Plus, for once, be in a position to be GENEROUS. It is amazing how many companies I deal with as a consumer that they just don't seem to CARE about my business! I even tell them "Look, if you do this for me I am likely to come BACK and if you don't I'll probably want to shop somewhere else" and then they say robotically "I am sorry sir but it is our policy to make you upset". Even just yesterday (in NYC for AES) I went to play the piano in the hotel lobby and someone came over to tell me it was their policy not to let anyone play the piano. I could have predicted it. But lock it then! With it not locked its inviting and what's the big deal if someone who can play plays it? I can understand if a child is banging on it but the people around me were psyched about it and it was sounding good...Pink Floyd and Elton John... it NEEDED to be played. I could even argue that the piano itself had summoned me. If that place was run by esoundz you'd be able to play even if there was a general policy.
So, that kind of flexibility to make the best decision with you in mind more than the company's greed or strict rules is part of what makes esoundz unique. I think its even SAD in some ways that there aren't more companies we deal with in life that are like that... for instance Travelocity? I am never using them again. They really jerk you around.
Anyway, for long time customers who have seen staff come and go at esoundz but still say they've received the best support and are satisfied... that's something I am very proud of. Glad to hear it Dale!
