Changes
- fixed freeze when changing presets in FL version
- fixed "no sound in Delay FX when changing samplerate"

- fixed problems loading old programs (including loading .vstpreset files from PoiZone 1)
- numerous small fixes

Is the cpu hit on the Mac version still uh, unusually high? Morphine is way less on my Dual 2.0 G5, which doesn't seem to make sense to me? But I really like these two instruments
I may get both of them!

The CPU usage is bigger than in Morphine in some cases. PoiZone renders 4 nothes simultaneously, it works so:DHR53 wrote:Is the cpu hit on the Mac version still uh, unusually high? - you hit one note, and if unison is "1" then it renders with no vectorizing.
- If number of notes bigger than 1, it uses vectors. So the CPU time is the same if you have 2, 3, or 4 notes played.
- Then next four - 5, 6, 7, 8 uses vectors again...
So it may look like PoiZOne has big CPU usage when you play one note, you may see it's avragely small when you play many notes.
It is a problem if only PoiZone CPU goes sky high, then it's a bug of some kind. Usually, it takes 6% percents when one note is played, 8% when more than 2 notes played, and up to 20-25 when more than 4 notes played. Cpu usage on my Mac stays in 10-20% when I play different presets.
Morphine takes 2-3 percents for each note.
Is it so on your machine? CPU power can be different, but the ratio Morphine/PoiZone?

Hmmm... in Logic the cpu meter does go halfway up on some sounds with a 3 note chord played. Which compared to some other 2 OSC. synths is pretty high. Sometimes in Logic the cpu meter will initially display a higher setting when playing notes with the engine not running... then when you record something it will be lower on playback? Anyway, I thought it just seemed a little high to me. Sounds very good though, and I really like Morphine!
(wish I had bought it at $99)

which preset is it exactly? I can check it here and see if it's a bug. Actually, it doesn't sound like a normal behaviour.DHR53 wrote:Hmmm... in Logic the cpu meter does go halfway up on some sounds with a 3 note chord played. BTW, could you check the version number to be sure you are demoing latest one (click the logo at the left-top and see version on about screen).
