Don't panic. I got that message too. Do the following : Close independance, copy the sound library's files (should be 7 or 8 iirc) and paste them in the images in its basic path. That should fix it (and did for me).

WOW - I finally got this baby together - this is without a doubt, the best free sample-based synth ever. The GUI is a bit difficult to read but insanely powerful. I can't say enough about the presets - they are positively gorgeous. IIRC, Music Maker 12 from Magix uses this synth or something very similar - I think I'll check into that again.

I didn't realize that you must return to the download area on the Yellow Tools website and down the sound files separately. This was a real bitch but I finally got the sounds downed and unpacked and in the proper folder. Definitely worth all the extra effort as this is positively THE best freeware sampler ever! The sounds are perfectly brilliant IMHO. If a version is available for under $100 I'll most likely buy it - I know this is probably wishful thinking!

I finally downloaded this. The sounds seem nice

but has anyone else had stability problems? I crashed it three times within a few minutes (both the standalone and the VSTi), always when trying to select a preset.

finally get it working here

but the problem is i got clicks and pops very very often on my pc(p4 3.2G,1g ram),especially with samples with build-in effect(like power chord cabinet).
anyone got any ideas?
the samples are awesome by the way.thank you yellow tools

-the included convo reverb often (not always) give me clicks and pops when involved in a preset (too much CPU for my 2X1.6Ghz G4)
-Maybe 1Gig RAM is a bit short ?

i am not sure if 1g ram is short but my pc runs well enough for most sampler software or VSTi..
clicks and pops happens even when playing the dry acoustic drum kit like only 10 notes at the same time...
maybe the audio engine not well enough?or maybe this is why it's free...??

too bad i can't get rid of problem that makes this sample library almost useless for me...

No this is not why it's free. It's only a teaser for the full product which has a much bigger library and can import other formats as well.
Havve you tried increasing buffer size?

Again, just convert the entire library to wavs, do your mapping and get onto your favorite sampler.
