How do I get this type of chordish bass sound http://media.putfile.com/Electro-bass-riff, I'm talking about the lower mid and the bass content, not the squarish type sound over it or the big 303 either.

it was either an actual analogue, or a va. It sounded like a pulse wave. I can get the same type of sound out of the oddy free from the kvr dev challenge. Synth 1 should be able to do it, as well as any moog based synth or arp.

I've downloaded the oddy and the large bass is similar. What settings would u recommend to get the sound as close as poss?

99% sure it's Audiorealism Bassline Pro with some eq ,a little bitcrush, compression and reverb
