My picture is kind of misleading because they are just roughly transformed to be the same size. Look at the details in the chrome corner protectors...they are identical.

Anybody can see that you're wrong. Here, a proper picture (right click and view picture if it is too small on your screen):

They look very similar, but they are not the same. And I am a Revalver user, and I love it. But to model the Fender Bassman amp in software, and take the hardware counterparts image and model your own amp on that image, and then complain when someone does the same thing with your model is a little hypocritical from my way of thinking.

So even if Nick DID nick (no pun intended!) the bassguy design from Revalver, it shouldn't be important. The bassguy nicks its own design from the Fender Bassman, and we don't see Fender having a go at Mike from Alien Connections.

If I'm wrong and Crow did take it from RVMK2, then he has only done the same thing that Revalver does.

All the reflections just happen to be in the same place? Get real!

I'll be blunt: The graphic elements are stolen, not loosley copied. Nick needs to make his own GUI, that's all.

It clearly is a copy & paste. It's been shortened vertically and detail has been blurred, probably as a result of the resizing process.

Though I don't think it matters.

Well if it is, then I apologize and retract my statements about it not being stolen. But if it has, then those points still stand. I don't know why anyone cares, even Michael. My aunt just got diagnosed with cancer, so I'm in a live and let live mood.

I don't know anything about Nick Crow, but this is a free plugin, right? I'll design him a GUI if he wants. It can look all spanky and just like a genuine tube preamp thing.

Look. The thing is taken from the ReValver Mk II package. Big deal. It's not a very classy image to begin with. Coincidentally, this very background will be removed in the next version.

The images in question are copied right out of ReValver MK II and pasted into Wagner Sharp - it's not just a matter of looking similar...they are in fact THE same background and therefore a copyright violation.

Hi,
GUI design for Wagner initial release was of no importance for me and I had little time for finishing my work so I have made GUI in 20 minutes just of what I had in my hands that moment. The thing that was image from the Revalver package - that is just my carelessness - then I didn't remember the source of that image. This is my fault. But that was not intentionally.

Of course. new version of Wagner will have another unique GUI and I will make it by myself.

I am very busy now and I don't have any time for changing GUI of current version Wagner, so for providing Alien Connections copyright on this picture I strongly suggest everybody who download Wagner Sharp stop using it at once and delete files Wagner_Sharp_v0.6.zip and Wagner_Sharp_v0.6.dll from the disks.

Sorry for not answering to this point for a long time - my english is very poor and so I had to wait when my daughter had any free time for writing it.
