Hey,
I currently have a CME UF80, how would i go about connecting it to a Karma as the synth module?
Jordan Rudess similarly connects a Karma to his OASYS for the sounds.
Cheers.

Got a MIDI cable? Connecet the MIDI-out of the CME to the MIDI-in of the Karma. Then make sure that they'll speak to each other on the same channel. I'd guess they'd be both configured to transmit/receive thru channel 1, but if not you need to do it yourself.

MIDI does NOT transfer any sounds! Think of MIDI signals as a computer program code, as a text file, it's a just set of instructions for the synth engine to execute.
To hear the sounds coming out of your Karma, connect the Karma's audio-out to your audio-in of the audio interface.

Yeh that's what I said. So I could run a MIDI cable from my UF80 OUT to the KARMA IN, and another MIDI from the KARMA OUT to my interface's IN. Correct? And the KARMA is acting as the synth module, yeh?
