Hello,

I have recorded samples of almost pure white noise @ 24bit 44.1k.

Unfortunately (despite my objections), I must resample these recordings to 16 bit audio for a sample library.

Here's my question: I know that when you sample from a higher bitdepth to a lower one, you should dither. But I'm literally pulling hairs deciding which is the best algorithm given my source material. I pray one of you can help and await your reply.

You fear that there could be some added noise to your white noise ?

Given your material I don't think it's very important.
