Need Med/Ren Organ Samples

Grettings all,

Hey, I'm looking for a very early organ sample - even the oldest organ samplesets (circa 1580's) I can find, pretty much sound like modern pipe organs. The instrument I'm looking for is sometimes referred to as a chamber organ, used in 14th & 15th centuries. I've found tons of this kinda music, but the credits always just say orgel, orgue, organ, etc. The sound I'm going for is somewhere between a harmonium and a consort of recorders.

Why Steve, the instrument you are looking for is called a portative organ. I'm afraid I don't know of any samplesets, but perhaps some of our kinder members could provide such information. There's also an instrument called the Regal, which may interest you as well, similar to the portative organ in appearance, but having a much more nasal tone similar to a crumhorn or some other early double-reed.
