Does anyone know the name of that famous Korg preset that is used in a lot of movies? I remember playing it on my M1 or Wavestation. I can't rememeber which. Here is an example of the sound:
Its like this backround sound with a lot of reverb. It comes in at 00:05 and a bunch of times at 00:53-01:00.

Are you sure it isn't pole? Sounds like it pitched down a few octaves, with the scrape included at the first :53 hit but not the subsequent hit right after...

Hello, this sound is one of the samples in the E-Mu Procussion module. You can also find it on Dance Mega Drums vol. 1 AKAI CD-ROM, and the programs name is PROCUSSION 3. The sample is mapped on C-2!
You can get similar results by transposing down tambourine samples from 80's drum machines.
Good luck
