I have been playing around with some sine waves but I cannot seem to anything close to this sound. I know the warp is adding some env attack but that metallicy sub has got me stumped.

It sounds like a distorted sub with a resonant low pass filter..

You could also make this using a distorted 808 bass drum..
Mbox 2, iMac Intel, Trigger finger, Logic Express, Ableton Live Lite, FL Studio

i thought my reply was rather interesting. now shut it or ill murk you wasteman

seriously dubstepforum.com

everything you need is there. dont get massive though as theres no way to control sync on an lfo which is pretty much key to wobble bass.

Metallic sounds sounds are usually frequency modulation (fm synthesis). I've gotten very similar dubstep-ish sounds by modulating a sine carrier with saw and pulse operators at higher octaves and then bandpassing the resulting waveform with a medium -speed attack on the envelope.

It's not necessary to go ring mod or FM for that sooo typical bass!
I saw it many times be done with a square and an envelope modulating a 24dB lowpass with reasonable stages times..

That is a typical dnb sound!!! it's a square wave with an envelope modding the cutoff freq of the filter... right amount of resonance is critical!!!!!! ;) ...nothing more... ?if you ment the wow wow bass?
?how?

No presets for me, Thanx!!!
