Final year project at Uni

Hello there, i was hoping for a little input from you peeps, basically i have to produce a final product of some description as part of my project/disitation at university, i love the idea of sound design, i own a few hardware synths one being the virus, i wanted to make a sample cd for the university, i have a basic grasp of programming the synth and i am actually beginning to produce some nice timbres, so the practical side of things dont seen to be a problem, yet i have to identify a challenge, research the challenges and then evaluate it all at the end in a way that will be academically acceptable from the univesity. so if anyone has any suggestions on how i could angle this or has any other good ides i would be very grateful indeed

im probably way off track here but what i think your saying is what you want to do isnt a challenge for you there for you cant really use it as your final product if that is the case possibly stupid answer and probably the first tinhg you thought of but just make it look like you had no idea what you where doing to start out with have a think of what you didnt know when you first got into it and look back on what you have learnt then just make up some hog wash story how you went from knowing nothing to producing what you have produced but using the things you have learnt as a plot for your explination of how it was a challenge for you and the things you enountered and how you got around them the hardest part for that would be your refferencing IE bibliographys and stuff any way mate hope i was on the right track and sorry if i was on the right track and that was the first thing you thougth of hope i was of some help

I wonder if "modern" universities, apart from tweaking on a resonance knob, are also promoting taking mysterious pills or going to rave parties...I doubt it..

Is i wrong in thinking, that to write a disitation, like, don't one first need to , like, be able to write, like, properly with correct grammer and spelin and stuff like that. Or is i'm wrong?
I am joking, by the way.
