Ok, I'm assuming these are light versions due to their size and the total size of the K3 library, but I just wanted to get some clarification about exactly what is included in the K3 library from Pettinhouse.

Does anyone know? There has been speculation about this, and regardless of the information I'll be buying it. But still it would be great to find out.

There's gonna be a directguitar 2 soon with more articulations

so I'm guessing the content in Kontakt3 will be a preview light version of that.

Sorry if I didn't answer fast to this topic.
Yes, recently I've collaborated with Native Instruments to create the new Kontakt 3 sample library. There you can find 3 DirectGuitar lite articulations and 3 DirectBass lite articulations. Whereas DirectGuitar full has 12 articulations and DirectBass has 5 articulations, both 24bit 96Khz instead of 44-16 of the lite, more layers more round robin compared to the lite.
For who is interested in DirectGuitar I'm going to release soon the version 2.0
Probably tomorrow I'll post some info and demos about it.

Thanks for the info! I think it's great that they are even in there. So they will surely add to the value of K3. Now I just can't wait for NI to ship mine!

Ok, promise tomorrow I will create a demo of one of the new DirectGuitar articulation. HAND SLAP Articulation with palm muted notes and free slap notes with key switching. I've add also palm stop for playing Ska, Rag Style.
