I'm sure it is, maybe your host has a keyboard to midi function? I know Savihost does.

Runagate posted a link, I think it was called "Sam", I tried it out, it turned your keyboard into midi notes. Pretty cool, try googling sam midi or pm runagate.

how would you make it touch sensitive?
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Do you want to use two PC keyboards at the same time, having one act as usual and the other as a music keyboard? I don't know of any way to do that.

You can plug in two USB keyboards (or one PS/2 and one USB) and type on either one, but they both act the same. If you use software to turn keypresses into MIDI, both will play notes the same way. And as Hink said, it will be like an organ keyboard, with no velocity sensitivity. You probably won't be able to play certain chords either. PC keyboards aren't meant to work with many arbitrary keys held down at the same time.

If anyone else does know of a way to use a 2nd keyboard as an independent controller, please let us know.

I'd love to use a $5 keyboard mapped to different commands than the regular keyboard.
