hi all,
i made a few (5) mr. ray 2.2 presets while waiting for my girlfriend to get ready ...
not that they're special (dead easy to dial in something useful anyway), but maybe they're useful to someone, so i thought i'd share them ... i really like this instrument, guido made a great job ...
so thanks, guido!
i will have to find a way to donate, i promise, guido!! (lazy me ...)
get them here
ps: someone know how to get rid of that "click" bug, which is prestent for a certain ammount of time (about 20 sec, then it's gone)?

...for the benefit for all of us - give the girl all the time she needs to get ready before going out! And don't be upset about it, I already see that you use the time for something useful. She should make you wait more often...
...thanks for the patches - something for Albino is in the works, if I remember correctly...

Try maxing out the polyphony...it should make the clicking go away. You'll have to do that every time you change presets.brok landers wrote: ps: someone know how to get rid of that "click" bug, which is prestent for a certain ammount of time (about 20 sec, then it's gone)?

No problem
I read it in another thread on Mr. Ray somewhere in my searches. So I can't take credit. I'm glad it helped you out though.

theflash26, i allready realized this way to do it ... i only thought someone knows a way to get rid of this behave one for all times ... by a certain tweak or such ...
this is by far the best emulation of stagepiano's out there ...
it even outperforms the commercial ones, though there are greatones, too ...
guido is one of the rare cases that show, that it's not synthedit's fault, but the dev's one ...

Thanks for the presets. I stopped using NI's Electrik a long time ago because Mr. Ray 22/73 is much better and easier on the CPU. I don't know of any other plug or patch that captures the essence of this vintage sound as well.brok landers wrote:theflash26, i allready realized this way to do it ... i only thought someone knows a way to get rid of this behave one for all times ... by a certain tweak or such ...

Maxing the polyphony is what I do to get rid of the clicks, and I'm told that buying a licence (15 British pounds?) will also do the trick. I will probably be buying a license soon.
