I'm listening to the faulty fan of my computer, right now it's a FA#, sometimes it goes up on DO or DO# in the afternoon, when the room's very hot.

I recently bought a new motherboard, and when i put my comp back together, i had to take the side panel back off to make sure the fans were working, it was so quiet (my last mb didn't have any temperature management, the fans just ran at full pelt all the time). Check your bios settings, you may have it set to be always on, or some other option affecting it.
