I'm new to all this an dcertainly appreicate this list. I've already got the mda effects plug-ins installed and a few more
like H2O compressor
But I don't get this marketplace. There's freeware/shareware, there's low end packages 4 effects for ~ 30 US dollars and then there are these high buck single effects for ~130 US dollars.
Does price reflect substantial difference in quality? Maybe some correlation with fancier GUI.
I'm most interested in compressors and stereo enhancers. I use the H2O comprressor and the only stereo shaper I have is from the prolific mda group. I'm mostly interested in say when I double a bass line with bass/celli and synth bass compressing the synth bass and placing it center and spreading the strings far right and far left. What might a veteran effects user use to accomplish this?

These are shareware, not freeware. This is a thread for free plugs.pheeleep wrote:The blue line plug ins are here: http://www.digilogue.de/english/download.htm

I see.. I saw that some blueline plug ins are listed in the list without the links, so I thought I would provide the link. My bad then.
Actually, the original thread states: b) Some of these plugins are shareware, donationware, or crippleware; and some have been probably removed from the public domain
Shareware is included.

In 'Freeware'? That is a very strange definition in my book, which goes back a few years. I figure the plugs listed here should be at least free, if not public domain.pheeleep wrote: Shareware is included.

I better add this one also
The Classic Master Limiter VST plugin is specially designed to boost the overall level of your final mixes, but is also highly useable on very dynamic instruments. It can be downloaded here: http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com/classic-master-limiter.php
