Oh, but there is.. This lists just scratches the surface of what he uses (or at least has). There was a thread not to long back with pictures of his studio. It was crazy and people were trying to figure out what stuff was.

I read somewhere that Trent used "Turbosynth", a very old modular synthesizer for the Mac back in the 90s. I had it too, it was a very ahead of the times modular synthesizer, very close to what "Reaktor" would become, and with which I programmed some very harsh samples myself too.
A very old application, surely dead, it was for System 8 and 9. Probably I still have the floppies somewhere.. you connected streams just like in Reaktor or SynthEdit or SynthMaker, but it was all black and white, no shades, no realtime playing. But it had LOTS of math modules to build sounds up.

I play the same kind of music. The name of the game is tons of effects. As many different distortions and bit reducers is a great start.
Trents first album, pretty hate machine, was very loop based and you can still find some of the sample CDs he took them from. He manipulated them and effected/layered them to the point they became his.
Layers, and layers, and layers is another thing. Lay down a synth line, load up 4-5 more synths and copy it to them, and then run them through different effects and mix them at different volumes.
Last but not least, automation of effects and volume on mixer channels is a must.
