Hi!

I'm considering to purchase another keyboard, so i was intrigued by the brand CMEand their UF series, particulary UF 70. Have you an experience with these, can you tell if they're reliable? say, robust? They cost suspiciously low.

My idea is to play much enough to improve my skill. So i'm not a electronic-musician, who just needs to somehow put the notes into the sequencer; i'll be playing much and, given my very bad technique, my playing is going to be unvaulnarable =))

Also how does it feel? I know i'll need to taste it myself in the store, but i'm used to my old KORG N364 keyboard, and once i've played few notes on fatar studiologic, so it was just awful to me.

are CME keyboards better?

I've had a UF 6 for about 18 months now and it's robust and the playing action is very good for the price. It even has aftertouch...

The only hassle I had was with sticking notes when using USB rather than the MIDI port but that was fixed by the 1.05 driver.

It's pig ugly though, but I can live with that!

Looks like a pretty solid controller,glad to see they've fixed the bugs.If i was going to get a full size it would be one of these,just seems like a better build quality and prolly best at that price

I'm a user of UF5 for one day!! When I was looking for a MIDI keyboard, a have tried various keyboards, but none of them in this price range was so good for playing as UF5 - best mechanics (except OBERHEIM with 88 keys). But... IT IS SO HEAVY!!!

I own a UF6 mLan edition, I've replaced my buggy axiom 49 with it, and I'm happy as can be!

Noted that I don't use the integrated mLan audio interface (at the time, at least), nor the USB out, and I've had no problems with it whatsoever using it with yr good old midi port.
Superb action, really well built. The faders are somewhat wobbly, but only slightly and nowhere enough to forsee any problems with them in the future.

Go for it, I'd say!

man, it's just my dream toy =))

As i happened to play on fatar for a minute, one thing that i hated most about it was it's total plastic-ness, that annoying weightlessness of plastic things, you know =))

As told, i am an owner of a korg synth that has a very good keyboard. and may be, the leader among master-keyboards will have a sickly look, when compared with synth-keyboard, what do you say? 8))
