Definitely go PMCs is you can - flat as a dancer's tummy. Great speakers always highly recommended and British (there's still one thing the Brits do best... well the Germans do OK too). i would try and stretch the budget to some TB-2s if you can.

Hey thanks for the advice everyone!

So one (2 rather) choices are the PMCs TB2S-A, or the TBS2+ ones (active and passive, respectively), and actually I went to turnkey today and heard the digidesign RM1s (PMC build actually... what do you know), which amongst the whole thing there, they sounded amazing!

So the choice goes pretty much between
TB2S-A and RM1s...

?????
