.... 1.0.6 release will have a short delay: I have to add a renaming patch functionality - sorry I didn't notice the lack of this functionality! It's damn necessary!!!

EDIT: Since 1.0.6 has important additional features; Velocity control and 4x stereo oversampling, I'll wait the end of the competition for releasing. . . . .

Alieno 1.1 sketches for an alternative to the "Strum" modules....
Unfortunately the scanner smashed down to the ground and got broke..

so the scan is incomplete....I will repost...

P.S: other new features: you can rename patches from the display (R-clicking on the name), left/right -1/+1 buttons to browse patches easily, the package now includes both the default and alternative banks (total 144 sounds)

Yes, now my work on this plugin splits in 2: 1.0.7>>1.0.9 will address issues and 1.1beta (big work) will become a sort of a Mini-Reason, since you'll be able to swap modules (both graphically and soundwise): i.e. the lateral Strums can transformed into "Cicuta s", a TWM unit...

That's gonna be some craziness, I tell ya. Looking forward to following the development. btw Very pro/classy of you to hold off on releasing 1.0.6 until DC voting was finished.

X version 1,1, Cicutas are almost built, the little TWM units work very good, very '80 when Strums are more '90s sounding. Cicutas are capable of very fat brassy sounds, trumpets, round basses and squeky leads, they are really a step forward from the old lateral Strums and give more sound palette to the whole synth. I'm designing the graphics for them and the whole dynamic swap system! What's still not built is the new improved filter (surely a 18/24dB), now it's 12dB)... it's fun!

I'm getting alot of loud pops on all presets. I have Tracktion 3.0.3.3 and using Dell with Core2Duo 2.0GHz, 2GB RAM, 320 HDD.

Hi, Integratron,
The reason why you here them is beacuse I work on a single core, slower machine. There's 1.0.7 version coming in days that fix those clicks on release on all machines, I've been working on that tricky issue but made some mistakes, then come just a few weeks ago to (hoping) the final solution!

I'll post here when the new version is ready so you can check by yourself if the problem is over!

Indeed, all that is just related to the old, non-modular, 1.0.X version: Alieno 1.1 will be a semi-modular system and will have customizable release times as most synths have...
