any experiences with bigfishaudio sample-downloads?

I ordered yesterday this download-instrument:

and did not receive neither a link nor an order confirmation via email.



do you have any experiences with that company and the downloadable samples?

as I know it from other online shops you get a confirmation and a download link immediately. therefore I'm a little bit concerned...

Yes, I have a story about that :

Ordered Westgate Oboe download, received a link, but when I unpacked it, it turned out to be the Westgate Flute! Contacted support and the guy was really helpful. I got a new link to the real oboe and they even offered me a free license for the flute! I didn't take it because I didn't really need it and it's more honest towards them, everyone can make a mistake.

Bottom line : really nice guys to deal with.

I don't know anymore if I got my download link right away, sorry. Maybe you could contact their support and explain the situation?

haha, peter...thats a nice story, lol. at least they seem to be friendly there. I hope that I'll get my instrument how I ordered it. and yep, I did contact the support but no answer yet...

btw is the oboe cool? legato-wise? I also was attempted to order the english horn, but now (hopefully) the clarinet first...

Yes, it's very nice sounding and very playable. It's the best I have so far (amongst KH Emerald, Kontakt2 VSL and Miroslav Akai CD).

I'm also very tempted to get the Westgate Horns collection, the demos sound really nice!
