FL5 applies timestretch automatically to everything whether it's acidized or not, you have to turn the knob everytime. It's a pain in the ass.

Gol told me a way. You can use edison in fl7 to load the sample that has tempo info, then in properties, uncheck tempo sync, resave. Now it will load without having to turn the knob. I'm just trying to find out how I can do this to a batch of wav files. Anyone know of other programs that detect/ disable tempo info?

Well, in fact what I used to do with FL version 5 was to actually ACIDIZE all my drum samples as 'single shot'. Once you've done this, they were no longer timestretched. If I remember well the problem was that I didn't find the way to do it with batches of samples, just one by one. If you find a program that labels all the samples as single shots, then that might be your solution.

found a free editor called wavosaur. Does batch processing, I "converted" wav to wav and it removed all tempo info.
