Hey all,

Joined this great forum you got here to ask this question. Im trying to recreate a new sound really popular in the new rave / house scene. Two of my favorite examples would be these tracks.

starts at 30 sec

starts at 3min, but give a listen at 2:50

Ive been digging into Absynth as far as i can go and it still sounds weak. I then tried running it into guitar rig for a grungy tone which got me a little close but then im getting to much feedback.

suggestions?

sounds like very short sound snipet (could be anything, maybe part of percussive hit)loop end point automation to me. try some granulator vsts.
