Why limit yourself to M-Audio only?? There's more fish in the sea...

The BX5a monitors with the BX10s sub would take you far with any sort of bass-critical dance music. The combo is really quite good for the price.

EDIT: meh... just noticed your $200 price maximum... my advice would be to save up until you can afford something better than $200 monitors. That price range will take you no further than a decent pair of multimedia speakers... sorry.

if you max. is 200$ than go for the max = DX4.
Generally, i would not expect two much from these speakers. Especially for house music you need a proper bass (ideally with an 8"" woofer) and you won't get it from 200$ speakers. Try at least to go for monitors such as the KRK RP5 (299$ for pair). If you compare both you will hear the difference. It is HUGE and really worth the 100$ more (and later you can go for a subwoofer. There is one from KRK fitting to the RP5 as well.)

I am afraid i am limited with treadmark, i can chose between m-audio, alesis, and behringer. So you guys think most important would be to have nice subwoofer in house music?
I am doing on 40€ speakers music for long time now, and i am good at it, but i really cant aford 300€ + speakers. 290€ would be top price.

yes, thought dx4 same. I dont need top studio sound, i just need optimal speakers to blast new house tracks with clean sounds, there are mastering engineers in label companies that will do their job.

For instance, check this mine track, on my speakers sound is just fine, but on any other speakers bass is just overpowering track.

So what i thing is that dx4 will be optimal solution for poor me :)

Any suggestions?

These babies are said to be excellent monitors, specially for the price.

Every review I've seen for these have been favourable...

I will rather buy something that is in box, and not in flat plastic. Ill go with that dx8 m-audio if i still remember the name, think it will be nice spend money, hope so.
