They will release it this month and surprise the most sceptics! After all, they already have screen shots of the application!




Now hopefully nothing will dissapear when the software gets released.

Lets give some credit where it is due. IK has actually been much better about release dates as of late and should get commended for their efforts. I'm almost convinced that if they say it'll be out in November, it will be.

however, svx/at2 (and I believe stomp i/o?) were announced at two winter namms in a row (with photos) and stomp i/o JUST got released.

Besides, as I said, being cynical will most likely help in an earlier release........er, except probably not now

Really? What in recent memory has come out that fit an actual release schedule? Sure, there have been some surprise appearances of unpublicized new products, but I don't recall the on-time delivery of anything that had been given a forecasted release date.

I think JHE, csr, and the moog one all were really close if not on time

btw, wasn't there some drum thingy that never came out? Or was that sonic reality?

Exactly, AT2JHE was never annouced, will not entiry true...It was announced by actualy released a month or so later.

So far the only dates we have for the new IKMM stuff is for the following:

X-Gear: Novembre
Stomp-IO:Novembre
ATME: ?

My position on this is very simple: I just want IKM to do what I think all customers expected when they bought AT2: that they further develop this product and put in practice a dedicated upgrade strategy, i.e. regular implementation of new features and functionalities like new amps, effects and stuff. These upgrades have a price? No problem! So IKM, show me an upgrade path for AT2 and I will continue to be a loyal customer and will consider X-GEAR and ATJHE. But without upgrades to the core product I will have to consider other solutions.

Couldn't you just run a couple of instances? I mean, an AT2 distortion (amp and cab off) followed by an ATJHE Fender Bassman (stomps and cab off), followed by an Ampeg SVX bass cab...seems like it's all doable if you have the CPU, and we're not even sure of how much less CPU the chainer will provide.

Still, it would've been nice to have already .
