These models perfectly fit in my favorite synth nerd niche: they can sound real, but excel in realistic sounds with a synthetic/artificial taste, that you can't really get from mangling samples.

This geeky niche is the only reason I'm the only person my age I know who can completely sit through "The Birds." :hihi:

..my original response was to post a bit of footage of british comedians on the original star trek set. it was scary. pls. don't look for it or post it if you know it, it's not nice.

hard to explain :)

"to-eat? to-eat?"

"wheat! wheat!"

:)
you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

Ha, I've been using them for the precise opposite - things that don't sound like anything specific but do sound like they were made by something real.
It's a rave, Lewis!

one more thanks to all devs.
it was really great.

1st xoxos:
(didnt vote for sounds of nature...)
+: the dev definetely merits it. in matters of novelty we got something truly interesting here, a masterpiece in synthesis knowledge.
-: keyboard (midi notes) could serve as modulation source. being picky: will next year DC's all entries be plugin collections (is it really fair to hand in multiple plugs?)

let us not forget the underrated (coz I'd like to see these dev's making more stuff, hehe)

24th one small clue:
Bouncer was my 3th place.
+: truly innovative delay afaik, and cpu friendly.
-: preset saving (.bnk format)

30th lidsquid:
Grapheed was my 2nd place.
+: have to say first: I used to do some of these granular fx with (rather painful) midi editing. the concept is very kewl, having granular sweep stuff, the sonic potential is afaik new. very innovative and low cpu usage.
-: sample import could be better. bit too much clicks.

2nd mucoder:
hypercyclic well merits its place. voted it 1st.
