There seems to have been a beta of shorcircuit 1.1.2 but it's nothing I can live without.
changes since v1.1.1
Samples can now be stored in the project dir of the song. It's activated in the configuration dialog. If the host provides the location of the project-file, any samples used will be copied to the project-directory when the project is saved.
other:
- added vst microtuning support
- issues with sf2's and saving-with-samples fixed
- issues with locating missing sf2's fixed
- env/filter-plot on a zone without a sample would crash
I haven't been able to test the project-dir saving thouroughly yet, so I'm labelling this file as beta for now. Proceed with caution.

er...how do you disable this saving the samples into host folder thingy?? I'd rather save it in shortcircuit's folder.

Awesome! You should setup a donation thingy for shorcircuit at least. It's well worth it and more. Maybe it'll motivate you to finish some unfinished features of SC2 like the slicer.

Thanks claes, had a lot of fun with it today! Loaded a random sample and started to modulate loop and effects like crazy, added a reverb and more modulation effects and ended up with a nice drone. Unfortunatly my CPU chocked up a bit, so i have some crackles in my recording.

And a featurelist comparison chart between SC1 & SC2 ? (what SC1 can/can't do that SC2 can't/can ?)
It seems that even the way to load a file is different, and as these 2 beasts are quite powerfull, any .txt, .pdf, .chm, .doc, .html or .jpeg from enthusiast useres could be helpful !

ahem : another question for the ones who know : does anyone know why the SC2 available version is 0.5, while the changelog hereseems to say that 2 new better both more stable and feature-complete do exist ?
