The only issue I know of is that the scroll wheel doesnt work inside of Sonar. That's not the end of the world,,,though. This is stuff I use all the time, without any problems. I truely love Sonik Synth 2. I can recommend it to anyone. Being able to get the Sampletank 2.5 engine, and the extra expansion tanks and bonus disk will give you a ton of useable sounds under Sampletank.Adambomb337 wrote:This sounds like a great opportunity and I'm seriously considering a purchase. One of the main concerns I have before making a music software decision is its stability. How stable is of Sonik Synth 2.1 and Sample Tank. How well do they perform? Do any known problems get quickly addressed?
You probably won't use the Sonik Synth 2.1 engine at all, this is basically the same as buying Sampletank 2.5, but instead of getting the Sampletank sound set, you get Sonik Synth 2's sounds. This deal will give you a really solid sound set.
I agree with some others, that Sonik Synth 2's sounds are a little better than the Sampletank set. It's definately got it for synths. This is seriously some good stuff here at a terrific price.
